Online Shopping: Can't live with it, can't live without it.

Online shopping and I haven't always been a thing. I actually always used to swear against it and I guess to some extent I still do, but lately it has kind of taken over my life.

Online shopping hasn't always been kind to me though. Take for example the time I saw this photo of Miley Cyrus wearing these American Apparel harem pants.
I obsessed about these pants, finally ordered them, and it wasn't until they actually came in that I realized that I am not 115 pounds and I am also not Hannah Montana. So basically I now have an expensive pair of stretchy pj pants.
But just like any addiction, there is always something that keeps you going. For me that thing is the anxious feeling I get while I am waiting for my package to arrive and the excitement I feel when it is finally on my doorstep.

Last night I ordered my lastest haul from Urban Outfitters and Topshop. I'm mostly excited for my Topshop stuff to come in because I've never bought anything from their shop before.

From Urban, I bought an amazing pair of Tripp NYC Cheetah print pants, a BDG Satchel backpack for school, and some Minted Rose lip balm (to push my total up so that I could get free shipping of course).

From Topshop, I finally bought the Speckle Tee Dress that I've been looking at for ages, a lilac pork pie hat and some plastic lilac glasses. I literally can't wait to wear this entire outfit.

Although I've done nothing but brag about my excessive shopping habits throughout this post, I'm going to leave you with some tips for shopping online:

  1. Remember that you are shopping for you, not the model. It's important to keep in mind what will suit your personal body type.
  2. Don't be afraid to use the size guide, that will ensure that you won't have to send the item back as soon as you finally receive it if it doesn't fit.
  3. Before you even start browsing, set a budget for how much you want to spend that day. This way you won't find yourself blowing through your money.
 Happy shopping.

Love,

Aisha
