One

Today is a very special day in J & A history because it's the day that started it all. On September 25th, 2012, I mustered up the courage to talk to a boy I'd been obsessing over for weeks. I am not the kind of girl who approaches random people for conversation, so I felt extremely out of my element. I waited for what felt like the perfect moment and after class I awkwardly said, "Hey, are you any good at this class?" Little did I know, from that moment on, Jake & I would become completely inseparable. 

That first week of knowing J is still one of the most memorable times of my life. Feeling like I finally found the one person who understood me and liked me for who I am was indescribable. I still feel that way to this day. I knew there was something so unique & special about him from the very first moment that I saw him. All I can say a year later is that I am honestly the luckiest human alive for getting to be around him every day. We have the best time going on adventures, traveling together and just being silly all the time.

In honor of today, here are a jumbled bunch of my favorite couple selfies & other shots that we have taken over the past year together. I cannot wait to add a million more photographs to our collection as the years go on.
